Dear Ape Co Community,
In alignment with our pursuit of economic sustainability, Ape Co is instituting price adjustments for 2024 to foster the continued growth and development of our program offerings. These changes will enable us to maintain our commitment to delivering impactful movement experiences while ensuring fair compensation for our devoted staff and teachers. Prioritizing the equitable pay of our educators becomes increasingly crucial as the cost of living rises and the demand for greater expertise in our field grows. Your invaluable support for these adjustments is sincerely appreciated, and we acknowledge the generosity inherent in that support.
Historically, financial aid, scholarships, and work-trade opportunities have been offered organically and behind the scenes and on a case-by-case basis at Ape Co. We’ve decided to introduce a new forward-facing financial aid application process on our website to help improve access to and awareness of these opportunities.
To better support the diverse needs of our community, we are pleased to offer a more transparent ongoing process. This financial aid program is specifically designed for individuals experiencing financial hardship or life transitions, offering support for price-adjusted memberships. Additionally, we've established a program for artists, students in lower-income fields, and those with ongoing limitations through work trade positions. This initiative aims to provide access to both temporary and ongoing support, ensuring our students can fully engage in our programs. We once again express our sincere appreciation for your invaluable support, acknowledging the generosity within it.
Recognizing that financial barriers may limit participation, we have now codified our Financial Aid and Work Trade application processes. If you're facing financial hardship, submitting the application allows exploration of reduced membership fees and temporary relief for up to 6 months. For ongoing support, please apply to our Work Trade program, and you will be contacted as positions become available.
